Awareness campaign

Nearly one in 10 children in Erie County is sexually abused before they’re 18 years old. We’ve established that one of the most challenging aspects of sexual abuse is the victims’ silence. To encourage them to come forward, we must educate them on why the CAC is a safe space for them—letting them know that we understand their situation and have experience in helping children just like them: that we see them and can help them.
